JKYog India organized it’s very first Online Sadhana Shivir in the year 2020. The Bhakti Yog Sadhana Shivir was a 7-day online spiritual retreat where devotees thrived in from across the world.  The Shivir began on the 25th of December and continued until the dawn of 2021. This time we had two remarkably interesting lecture series that were offered by Swami Mukundananda ji.  The mornings were filled with the explanations of the sweetest of all songs and the crown jewel of the Bhagavatam – The Gopi Geet. Swamiji eloquently explained as to how the highest sentiments of devotion were portrayed by the Gopis. Moving on, the evening lecture series was adorned with the ‘7 Divine Laws to Awaken Your Best Self’. We all have immense potential, but do we unravel all of it? Why not? The secret to success lies in discovering your true self and becoming the best version of yourself.

Apart from various gems of wisdom, sadhaks also got a chance to engage in deep Roop Dhyan meditation while chanting the divine names of Radha Krishna. We had about six hours of kirtan going on daily which helped devotees absorb their minds completely in God. Devotees also had the golden opportunity to offer various sevas. Sevas such as the abhishek of Shree Maharajji and Shree Radha Krishna were the highlights.  Since it was a virtual event Swamiji performed the abhishek on behalf of all the devotees. Devotees also partook in offering Daawat to Jagadguru Shree Kripaluji Maharaj and enjoying the Picnic with Swamiji daily. On the final day of the Shivir, devotees offered ‘Chappan Bhog’ (56 dishes) to Shree Maharaj ji. One -of- a- kind sweets and savouries were offered lovingly to Maharajji. On the final day of the Online Bhakti Yog Sadhana Shivir 2020, everyone participated in the ‘Maha Aarti’. Hundreds of sadhaks joined the grand event inperson and virtually combined. While few offline participants relished being a part of the blissful Aarti, hundreds of online registrants too made their offerings from their hearts, representing all of them Swamiji performed the Maha Aarti. Another interesting seva opportunity was to meet Swamiji. Participants enthusiastically came forward to meet and greet Swamiji. They expressed their gratitude and seeked blessings from Swamiji for further spiritual progress.

The Bhakti Yog Sadhana Shivir also provided a platform to talented souls in showcasing their talents. People of all age groups presented vivid performances such as dancing, singing, poetry, leela depiction etc. It was not just a contribution internationally, but we also witnessed people of all age groups expressing their creativity and devotion to Hari and Guru.

JKYog India conducted the Yoga and Pranayam session everyday. We also got to learn some healthy yet tasty recipes from the Jagadguru Kripalu Naturopathy Hospital. We also had numerous Q/A sessions with Swamiji where devotees came up with great philosophical and spiritual curiosities while Swamiji answered all of them patiently.

The shivir came to an end with a bang as everyone welcomed the New Year. On the New Year’s Eve, we had kirtan going on up until midnight. Devotees rejoiced and danced to the nectarine tunes of the radhe naam sankirtan. Swamiji also joined everyone in this jubilant celebration. On that joyous note the 7-day journey of celebration, devotion, knowledge came to an end.
